Its 7:36 am on Easter Saturday and I’m awake writing this this little post with a hot cup of tea. I feel more productive in the mornings, especially now that it is getting a lot lighter and brighter in the mornings.
In the spirit of all things Easter I wanted to do a re-cap of one of my favourite palettes at the moment – The Makeup Revolution Chocolate Palette in Pink Fizz.
Im pretty sure I have already featured this in my blog but in the spirit of all things chocolatey, I wanted to show you beauties again!
Very suitable for the time of year I know, but this palette has always been my go to product. The colour range is beautiful and it just screams pastels, shimmers and glitters.
So here are the beautiful shades and SUCH beautiful names to go with them! I have to say, I have used a lot of Makeup Revolution products and ALL of them have been so pigmented, amazing quality and long lasting.
This one is no exception.
Can we just talk about the packaging? Its very much like the Two-Faced Chocolate Bar, but I think I prefer this one if I’m honest! It also come with a signature sweet chocolate scent which makes me hungry whenever I apply….
So here is a closer view of the colours, as I said before, loads of shimmery shades that are ideal for Spring and mostly pastels. I have highlighted three of my favourite shades, the first is on the top row and its called ‘Sparkling‘. When I swatched it, I fell in love. Its a pretty beige champagne colour and would look amazing as a highlight shade on the lids and inner corner.
The second shade is on the second row and it is called ‘Bubbles‘. Again, another highlight shade and its a gorgeous highly pigmented creamy white shade.
Lastly, we have ‘Pink Fizz‘ on the third row. This is a good all rounder that would look incredible on its own or as a crease shade. The great thing about this palette is that it can be used every day and dressed up for the night as well.
As most of you know, Spring is upon us and I have been on the hunt for some beauty essentials.
I have created a wishlist of some of the items that I am CRAVING right now. I’ve seen so many wishlists that you guys have created and thought I would join the club and show you what I needwould love!
Lets get Started…
Benefit Hoola Zero Tanlines
So this little beauty is brand new and looks heavenly. I have used Hoola bronzer for years now and I have been waiting for Benefit to bring out a self tan. It comes with a little body sponge which you blend in the product in to your skin, so that means no more orange hands! It comes at a price of £19.50, so quite pricey for a tan but Hey! Its Benefit and I bet its INCREDIBLE!
I love Rosie Huntington Whiteley. She is such a role model, not to mention absolutely flawless and a natural beauty. Her range of makeup is stunning and the range is amazing. This concealer is lightweight and leaves the skin with a luminous glow. Ideal for Spring/Summer, and also covering up those blemishes seamlessly! It’s £14 and comes in two shades, I always go for a lighter shade because im so pale!
Another Rosie product of course. I have always wanted an eyeliner like this. It has a super fine felt tip and it says its smudge proof…. SMUDGE PROOF! Did you hear that?!! Im a big liquid eyeliner fan and this type is my fave, I find it alot easier to use when its in a pen form. Its a reasonable £14, so I definitely plan to get this ASAP.
Heaven! Anything Rose Gold and I fall in love. Rosie’s range of lipsticks just make me smile so much. They come in so many different shades but the one that stood out for me was this delicate shade called CAMISOLE BLUSH. Its so pretty and girly and I need it in my life. Again, the price for this is £14 so not bad!
If you haven’t checked out the new H&M beauty section, then you need to. I walked in the new H&M in Cardiff and was in awe at the professional looking range. It all looks so high end, but what caught my eye was the blushes. This shade is called GOLDEN PEACH and looks such a warm and rosy colour, perfect for even without bronzer. Its only £6.99 and I know I will be getting this the next time im shopping!
I have never owned any Charlotte Tilbury makeup, but I think I need to. Highlighters are my favourite makeup product. They can change and define the face shape so much whilst adding such dimension and healthy glow. The packaging on this looks divine, and just imagine a gold highlighter for summer. You’d be shining like a diamond. It is rather pricey at £32 but I have never seen anything so perfect.
I really want to stick with this wishlist, no matter how long it takes! So look out for the review posts on all of these products when I purchase them!
Have you guys got a wishlist at the moment? I would love to see them so send me your links!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Its a little different to what I usually do but it was GREAT. As I said earlier, I TAG all of you beauties reading this!
I have been loving anything ROSE GOLD lately and jumped at the chance to create a make-up look for you guys. I think this colour combination is perfect for Spring, its so girly and pretty and looks ideal forany occasion.
For this look, I will be using my favourite palette by Makeup Revolution which includes 144 shades of HEAVEN!
If you guys have yet to get this little gem, then you can find HERE.
Here is the easy peasy video tutorial for you lovelies so you can learn step by step how to get this Rose Gold look.
Lets get Started….
And a photo montage because I love you guys….
So to start, I used a shimmery pink champagne colour all across my lid using my finger to apply and pack on the colour. I find that applying my base with a brush doesn’t give the same effect as using my fingers, its more pigmented and the colour appears more rich.
Next up I used a metallic soft pink shade in my crease and outer V, I used a fluffy brush to blend everything together and to create a seamless finish.
Using the same fluffy brush, I applied this beautiful rich gold colour to the centre of my lid and blended it out towards the outer corner of my lid. I love this shade as it adds a lovely bit of warmth to the look.
I then took a deeper darker pink shade and applied it over the colours in my crease and outer corner, this enhances and creates a depth to the look and a lovely smokey eye finish.
Using a small flat brush, I took that same shade along my bottom lash line to increase that depth and add some shadow.
As you can see, the colours blend perfectly together.
By adding a highlight colour in the inner corner, it makes the eye appear brighter and wider and more awake. I used a shimmery cream shade.
Ofcourse I had to do a winged eyeliner. This look is super girly and feminine so enhancing those eyelashes is a MUST.
Add a fave pair of lashes. Mine are by EyeCandy and are so beautiful, they are very flirty and have just enough length on the outer corner so it doesnt appear heavy.
Up next is mascara… a must. I use Maybellines Sensational mascara to create some drama compared with my subtle eyeshadow. This has to be one of the best mascaras I have ever had and I highly recommend this one!
Noticed how my false lashes and real ones blend together effortlessly?
I LOVE IT!
I added a super pretty pinky nude lipstick to my lips. Its by Ted Baker and I literally wear to every day. I thought it complimented the eyeshadow colours perfectly. The formula is really creamy and doesn’t dry out my lips at all.
I am in love with the finished result and cannot wait to wear it this Spring.
Have you guys created a look for this Spring?
I would love to see so send me your links in the comments.
Its basically Spring time and I’m so excited for all things colourful… And Easter eggs ofcourse.
Lately I have been loving wearing a simple and elegant makeup look with a bold colourful lip. It really does make you feel happier when you add a POP of colour.
So today I’m going to share my THREE favourite lip colours for March.
Number One
This little beauty is from Kiko Milano, can we just appreciate the colour on this case… Its stunning! I find the quality of Kiko Milano incredible, it is so affordable and their range is HUGE!
So the shade looks super bright, but when applied it is so natural and subtle, it’s the type of colour to go with everything and looks good on ALL skin shades.
Application:
Number Two
Who doesn’t love hot pink?
This Ted Baker Lip gloss has to be the most pigmented lip product I own. A little bit goes a long way, but once applied looks flawless.
I wear this shade with a very simple makeup look to add a splash of brightness to my everyday style. Again, this colour will look great with a lot of skin shades.
Application:
Number Three
Another Ted Baker. Yay!
This has to be my favourite out of the three. Rose gold, white and pink…..
A heavenly colour combination.
The shade is so pretty, it’s a very light pink/ nude and I literally wear it every single day. The consistency is so creamy and lasts all day.
Application:
And that is it guys. Those are my TOP THREE lip colours for this Spring.
Have you got some favourite shades? I would love to try some more!
Their products are such good quality and the range is fantastic. I love a good pamper session and Sunday night is a great excuse to feel polished and relaxed before the week ahead.
I wanted to show you guys a couple of my favourite products that I really recommend.
Oh this is pure bliss. This body butter is so thick and creamy and just soaks into the skin effortlessly. My skin is left feeling so soft and smooth and smelling gorgeous with the Soap and Glory original scent. Its got shea butter and aloe vera so it is PERFECT for dry skin like mine.
I keep this in my bag all day everyday. Its great when i’m in work and my hands feel dry and tired. It is super hydrating with shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow… yes marshmallow! It has a beautiful fragrance, very delicate like roses. They have a larger size too, but this is ideal for on the go.
After a long day in work, I love nothing more than to have a hot bath and use this little delight on my tired feet. I have never used a foot cream that is so thick and nourishing. It has menthol in the formula to help awaken and give my feet a great tingly fresh feeling. As for the softness, oh my… put it this way, my feet have never felt so good.
Have you guys tried any of these? I would love to know what you think and any recommendations!
So today I went for a bit of retail therapy in Primark and Lush.
I’m really getting in the mood for Spring and wanted to add some colour to my wardrobe and room.
In Cardiff, we have a MASSIVE Primark that is spread over about four or five floors which means there was ALOT of exploring to be done. I think I spent just over an hour admiring the new lines in and cant wait to show you what I bought…
So I have created a Haul videofor you guys so I can chat with you and a blog post too..
Let’s get started…

I could not resist getting this adorable little room accessory. I think its so cute for Spring and brightens the place up. It was actually reduced to clear and there were so many of them – I just had to get one.
Metallic Tattoos – £1.50
Brings back childhood memories.. I love transfer tattoos and thought these would be great for photos and festival season. I particularly like the rose gold ones.. very boho.
Mixed rings – £2.50
I’m a big lover of rings. I wear one everyday. However I have never bought a midi ring as i always thought they would fall off. These however are perfect and will go with absolutely every outfit.
Sunglasses – £2.00
Check out these badboys. They are beautiful. They have a very classic look to them and I love the beige/ nude colour. They are super comfy and will make any outfit look like 1 million dollars.
Sunglasses – £3.00
These are the same style as above but have a blue reflective tint to the lenses. I never usually go for leopard print but I wanted to try something a bit more edgy. They have electric blue sides which add a great pop of colour – Perfect for Spring.
Fluffy Pillow -£2.00
Again, SALE item. Yay! What a bargain. Its super soft and a great addition to join the others on my bed.
Pink Pillow – £2.00
And again, another SALE item. I’m trying to add more colour to my room so I thought this would be a good start. Hoorary for Sales!
Sleeveless Cardigan – £14.00
So i’ve seen alot of people wearing these and im always a little bit jealous if im honest with you. Today was the day that I bought one! Its super thick and warm, paired with a simple top, jeans and boots, it will look really classic and elegant. I dont think this will EVER go out of fashion.
Snood – £3.00
I love a good snood. This one came in so many different colour but again I went for something that is going to go with everything. Its quite a thin material but there is a lot of it which makes it nice and warm. Plus it can be worn so many different ways.
Daisy T-Shirt – £5.00
Doesn’t this just scream SPRING. The daisy print just attracted me and it is so cute. I love a simple t-shirt so this is going to be great with jeans or shorts (if we ever have warm enough weather). They also had loads of other prints like spots and even one with elephants..
Plain Red T – £2.80
Easy Peasy. Plain and Simple. This colour is a warm red brick and is a simple V neck T shirt. I already have a ton of these so I just wanted to add to my colour collection!
Underwear – £3.00
I dont usually go showing off my underwear across the internet but just look at these. I have NEVER seen underwear so bright in all my life. I just had to get them, they just made me laugh and smile! This is a glorious pack of 3. Im sure it will brighten the start to my day! Haha .
Underwear – £2.50
On the same theme, I may as well show you the rest of my underwear collection… are these pretty pastels. Not much else to say really except I LOVE them!
Intergalactic – £3.95
I’ve seen a lot of youtubers and bloggers with this bath bomb. I had a demo in store and it created the most beautiful colours and bubbles. It smells really fresh and I know I will be left feeling super clean and relaxed after this one. I’m sure it will also create great instagram photos!
Ickle Robot – £1.95
I picked this up for my boyfriend for him to use after a hard day of work. It is so cute, I dont really want to submerge him…. The scent is really gentle like lavender and will definitely help relax.
ButterBall – £2.65
This is what I imagine that newborn baby smell to be like. Its so soft and gentle and is just heavenly. Its very powdery so I can tell it is going to make my bath luxurious and creamy.
You’ve been mangoed – £2.00
This looks a lot like an avocado to me but the scent is INCREDIBLE! It is so citrusy and zingy. Its a bath oil so you just run it under water and your bath becomes gorgeous and great for hydrating the skin leaving it smooth and silky.
Thats a lot of purchases.
Phew.
