The weather is certainly having trouble making its mind up lately, am I right?

I have worn everything from Jumpers to bikinis this month and my wardrobe has been slightly confused with what temperature it should be! I have been loving all the spring fashion trends this year already so I thought I would show you some of my favourite outfits and beauty essentials so far.

For those of you who don’t know, I live in Wales and it is notoriously known for wet and windy weather (with last summer being an exception). I have clothes for every single weather event but I have never worn a woolly pullover and a swimsuit in the same week!

When we did have a 24 degree day, It was over Easter weekend and I was going to a family lunch. I wore this beautiful bright yellow tea dress from Primark and paired it with my white sliders.

It is such a stunning colour and was very lightweight and cool for sitting in the garden. I picked this dress up last year for £5 in the sale and I am so glad I did.

Yellow tea dress from primark

Dress: Primark – £5

Sliders: Primark – £6

Hair clips: Asda – £4

Hat: Dorothy Perkins – £16

These pretty hair clips are everywhere at the moment! They remind me of a classic  Chanel look that would look great on long and short hair. I picked mine up from George at Asda for £4 each and they are gorgeous! You can actually find my picture over on the George for Asda instagram page, they liked it that much they wanted to share it themselves!

This hat is from Dorothy Perkins, I bought it years ago and I just love the colour, it goes with everything and makes any outfit look so glamorous.

I have been loving super bright pigmented eye shadows lately. My sister very kindly bought me a few goodies from Colourpop, including this gorgeous super shock shadow. It is so pigmented and a little goes a long long way! It looks phenomenal in the sunlight and I look just like a giant piece of glorious glitter – I love it.

This was a super quick post to show you what I have been loving lately, but keep posted for something very exciting in the next few days from one of my favourite brands – You will love it!

NEW Summer Series: Everyday Glow // BeautyandShe

Uncategorized

IMG_1053

Im so excited to bring you dolls the second installment of my Summer Series!

When it comes to summer beauty, I think of bronzed skin with pops of bright colour!

This post will show you guys my everyday summer look that is so easy and follows on from my previous post!

IMG_2075

So take a gander at the products above,

and Lets get started….

IMG_2079

As this is continuing from my previous post, you can find my foundation and facial makeup here.

So for my everyday summer eye shadow, I love to add a splash of colour to the outer corner of my eyes.

Its super easy to change up the colours to match your OOTD.

IMG_2081

So to kick start this beautiful look, I used this gorgeous shimmery champagne colour all over my lid using a fluffy blending brush.

I adore this colour as it shines in the sunlight beautifully…

..(Twilight moment)

IMG_2083

Using the same fluffy brush, I applied a lovely ruby red shade to the outer corner of my eye and the crease.

Make sure that the colour is blended really well..

IMG_1085

I’m just addicted to smokey eyes…

I love the combination of the two colours and as you can see, I’ve made sure the colours compliment my OOTD.

IMG_2084

So lastly, for a real dash of summer,

I paired the look with this orange/pink lip colour by Maybelline.

It has such smooth application and leaves my lips feeling silky soft.

IMG_2087

As I said in my last post, comfort is a massive deal for me!

I don’t think anyone likes to be sweaty and uncomfortable, especially if you’re out shopping!

So my floral off the shoulder top is from Primark (ofcourse), my jeans are from Zara and my brown leather bag is from Crew Clothing.

IMG_2088

And that concludes my everyday summer glow look.

Can I just say that I am having so much fun creating these Summer inspired looks for you beauties!

Let me know what you guys think and I would love to know what your fave thing to do on a summer’s day is!

Speak to you all soon,

IMG_0988

Well hello there my beauties!

So yesterday was my twin sister’s graduation day!

She has finally finished University and achieved and amzing 2:1 degree in BA History!

So of course I couldn’t not show you my OOTD and makeup for this amazing event.

Let me show you….

IMG_0940

As it is summer, I wanted to go for something that would match this beautiful sunny weather.

My dress is from Primark and was an amazing £5…

BARGAIN.

I love the watercolour effect on the flowers and love the contrast in colour of the red and blue.

What I absolutely love about this dress is the back. It has an open back with a ladybird style cape effect which makes the dress look so unique.

I decided that because the dress is so vibrant, I wanted to pair it with some classy yet simple shoes and accessories.

My shoes are also from Primark and my matching clutch is actually my mums that she bought in M&S.

IMG_0945

As for hair and makeup, again, I kept it simple by simply straightening my hair and stuck to natural and neutral makeup.

I lightly created a smokey eye and matched it with a natural rosy lip.

And as for my sister…

IMG_0988

No word can describe how beautiful she looked…

Coral dress, white shoes, natural makeup – stunning.

Are you guys graduating soon? or have a special occasion to go to?

I would love to see!

Spring time is one of my favourite seasons. The colours are so refreshing after a cold and dull winter, where everything is in hibernation…

So let’s wake up to some Spring outfits inspired by some Spring florals!

So let me show you beauties what I will be wearing this season…

Let’s get started!

white-spring-flower-in-morningDaisies make me so happy! I think its the colour combination of the whites and yellows.. there’s something so refreshing about them that just makes me smile!
334029312I used to have dungarees when I was little. I loved to throw them on with a baggy t-shirt and I would be set for the day! I knew they would come back into fashion sooner or later. I love this pair from New Look with the ripped detail, check them out here!

Blossoms are so beautiful and delicate and the range in colours are incredible. The texture of the flower is so gentle that just reminds me of chiffon, i’m not sure why!

What I’m going to wear to Cheltenham Races Ladies Day on 11th March – #Colourmemarch

Uncategorized

As we know, Spring is just around the corner and I cannot wait.

There is nothing quite like the variety of colours that Springtime produces, it is breathtaking!

I previously did a post about outfit inspiration for Cheltenham Ladies Day – #colourmemarch. I chose several pieces from various clothing stores online and put them together for some colourful inspiration!

So today, I had a good look in my wardrobe for all things bright and beautiful…. and colourful! I put together a few bright outfits that I think would look great for the #colourrmemarch event on the 11th of March, and narrowed it down to my final choice! Here’s my entry for their Great competition #ColourMeMarch.

Blue is one of my favourite colours.

The range of blue shades and tones is almost endless and I love how sophisticated it can look, dressed up or down.

IMG_1483

My royal blue knee length dress is from the gorgeous brand, Paper Dolls, Check it out on the Little Mistress website.

This dress fits me like a dream. It is super comfortable with a thick and figure hugging fabric with appliqued lace running down the sides. I find that on the knee dresses are extremely flattering and feminine and are my favourite style of dress to wear on special occasions!

My silver, white and black jewelled clutch is from Primark that my lovely mother bought for me last year. I adore this bag as it makes any outfit look instantly glamorous. It reflects the light creating and casting a ray of different colours in the sunshine!

My detailed navy blue heels are from Marks and Spencers  and look so elegant with this outfit. I find that shoes with open toes elongate the legs making them appear longer! Perfect for my 5ft 4 height! They are also so comfortable and easy to walk in – I would not have to cling on to my boyfriend the whole day with this comfy pair!

IMG_1484

As you can see, I have two piercings in my lobes so I took full advantage of this and chose these gorgeous blue and purple jewelled earrings from Accessorize. Again, I love how they glisten in the sunlight creating gorgeous deep colours that compliment the rest of my outfit. I chose pearls as my second choice as they suit all outfits and add a sense of sophistication that definitely suits the occasion!

IMG_4678

To match the lace on my dress, I chose nude nailsWho doesn’t love a nude nail?! Oval nail shapes are also so feminine looking and are so easy to do! It matches any colour and compliments any skin tone!

I think this outfit would look so elegant at Cheltenham Ladies day, adding another ray of colour to the rainbow of outfits!

Festive Maroon Smokey Eyes

Uncategorized

Happy New Year!

The festive season means plenty of parties so here is my festive look for the season.

I love anything maroon as it just reminds me of christmas. Its a bold colour that works well for all skin types and can be easily dressed up or down.

I began by priming my eyes with Urban Decay’s primer potion and began by applying the first shade from the Urban Decay’s Naked 3 palette,Strange‘, all over my lids. Using Makeup Revolutions ‘I heart chocolate’ palette, I used the shade ‘What a way to go’ which is a gorgeous maroon colour, in the corner of my eye and crease. I blended this out with a fluffy brush to really create the smokey effect. Using a smaller detail brush I applied the shade ‘Love Torn’, which is a red/brown colour, in my crease and outer V, I then used another fluffy brush to blend this all together.

Using Ted Baker’s gold eyeliner, I lined my bottom lashes to add some sparkle and pop to compliment the festive deep red colours.

I then used Ted Baker’s liquid eyeliner in Black to line my upper lash line into a winged look. I use small strokes to get the perfect and precise detail. Once finished, I curled my lashes and applied my favourite mascara, Max Factor’s max volume and high definition mascara, making sure to get right to the base of my lashes to lengthen them further.

Red smokey eye

Voila! The look is complete! It’s as simple as that…
