Good Afternoon Beauties.

I’m back with another Halloween Tutorial for you guys!

And this one is super easy, using products found in my own makeup collection.

Inspired by Roy Lichtenstein’s Pop Art work, this tutorial is full of fun and bursting with colour.

If you lovelies would like to see how I created this EASY and AFFORDABLE look, then just look below.

I love how the cartoon lips have turned out and how much a dash of white adds a sense of shine and dimension.

There are two stages to this tutorial which means two different looks.

The first is nice and simple, the second adds a bit of drama!

So this foundation provides such a perfect complexion with a matte finish. The formula is of 98.8% natural origin that perfectly evens out the skin leaving it flawless with the minimization of pores! I chose the shade Light Vanilla and it matches my horrifically pale skin beautifully.

So if you’re a ghost like me, this is ideal for you.

Originally £10.99, find it for £4.77

Maybelline Expert Wear Blush: Rosewood

Maybelline Expert Wear Blush in Rosewood has to be one of the nicest shades I have used. It is super pigmented and lovely light rose pink shade. It’s super blendable when applied to the skin and gives a healthy rosy glow.

I apply mine with a big fluffy brush to the apples of my cheeks.

Originally £5.19, find it for £2.99

Estee Lauder Pure Colour Eyeshadow Quad

Eeeeeeeek!

I rarely splurge on anything high end designer, so this was my chance to have a bit of luxury. I chose this super pretty eyeshadow palette with four super pigmented colours.

13 Tranquil Moon (Satin)
63 Tempting Mocha (Shimmer)
07 Smokey Ember (Shimmer)
45 Lavish Mink (Matte)

Look out for a makeup look with this palette soon.

Fall favourites // BeautyandShe

Uncategorized

   IMG_1053-0

20th September.

Officially Autumn in my book.

Im a typical lover of anything “fall” related. The nights grow darker and colder, scarves are back in fashion and hot chocolate is acceptable at all times.

I thought I would share with you some of my Fall favourites to get you guys in the seasonal spirit.

1. Dark red lips.

Ooooooh I love a red lip.

This burgundy colour is by Ted Baker and looks great with ANY outfit. It’s a very warm colour so I’ve paired it with some maroon eyes.

And yes that’s me! Hello!

2. Tartan Scarves

I don’t know what it is about these.

But I love them.

They are super soft and come in so many different colours.

I throw on one of these with a baggy white T and jeans, add some boots and your done.

3. Beige Mac

Flawless.

Every time I  where my Mac I feel just feel fancy.

I bought mine from Primark for £20 and its lasted me years.

4. Highlighter

A dewy glow to the skin makes you look so much more healthier

I love the Iheartmakeup highlighter called “goddess of love“.

As well as being super well priced, it’s very pigmented and has a great shine.

5. Plaited hair

There is nothing worse than having bits of hair all over your face… Especially in the rain.

This hairstyle is amazing and I’ve been wearing it all the time!

It gives a thick textured look to any hair.

6. Apple crumble

Oh my…

Is there anything nicer than a bowl of hot apple crumble with ice cream?

What I like to do, is add some cinnamon sugar on top to really add to the fall feeling.

7. Pumpkin spiced latte

As usual, this is the drink that most of us go mad for.

And for good reason.

Creamy, sweet, pumpkin, yumminess.

I took this photo in Marks and Spencer’s with my mum, so nice for a mid morning treat.
Heaven.

And that my lovelies is my seven fall favourites at the moment.

I would absolutely love to know what your fall favourites are!

Mystical Mermaid Halloween Tutorial // BeautyandShe

Happy Sunday everyone!

I have a well deserved day off today so I thought it would be a good opportunity to catch up with you dolls!

I have been feeling very creative lately and I am SO looking forward to this autumn season.

So last week I shared with you my Halloween Horror Skull Tutorial, which I absolutely loved creating. This week is something a bit easier using some gorgeous colours and….

Glitter.

Yes. Glitter.

I’m pretty sure that every girl has wondered what it would be like to be a mermaid..

I know I have. I just love the beachy hair and bright and beautiful colours!

So this is my take on the Mystical Mermaid look.

For the full tutorial of how I created this magical look, check out the link above!11997159_10154030751589179_239807065_n

Who knew a pair of tights could create such a beautiful pattern right?

11999925_10154030751874179_758768752_n

In a lot of films, the mermaids you see usually have gorgeously glistening flawless skin, so to create this, I added some pink glitter to my cheekbones, brow bone and forehead.

12021979_10154030749884179_1516819988_n

To finish the look, add some eyelashes and give your hair those beachy waves!

This look is super easy to do and quick to create for a last minute idea!

Halloween Horror Skull Tutorial: VLOG & Photos // BeautyandShe

IMG_1053-0
My beautiful friends,

The time has come to get in the spooky spirit and start prepping for one of my favourite times of the year… Halloween!

With the leaves starting to fall and the nights getting darker, Autumn has finally begun to set in.

I will be doing plenty of Halloween videos and posts to help inspire you guys!

If you have any suggestions that you would like me to create, let me know in the comments below.

So I did a lot of reasearch into different spooky Halloween looks but I wanted to begin with one that everyone can do easily with their own makeup collection at home.

Skulls are one of the most popular tutorials and looks that I have come across… And honestly look pretty darn cool if I say so myself.
Ready….?

If you don’t want to look as scary as myself, this look can easily be adapted to create a fun and cute alternative.

So how did I do it?

Step one:

I began by creating a white base for my skin, I applied a white cream eyeshadow lightly over the face and used Talcum powder….. Yes, talcum powder, to set it with a fluffy brush.

Step two:

Using a black eyeliner, sketch out the shape of the eyes (this is where you make them as cute or as scary as you would like) and lightly fill them in with the same liner and apply a dark black eyeshadow over the top to intensify the colour.

Do the same technique for the hollows of the nose.

Step three:

Sketch out your cheekbone shape, and make a start on those lovely teeth.

So you want to start by using a black liner, preferably gel, and a small brush to draw out the teeth. I began in the centre of my lips, over emphasising them a little and worked my way out towards that cheekbone we created.

Step four:

Again using our friend the black eyeliner, draw the skull shape along the sides of the temples applying some shading to create a 3D look. I used a black and dark grey eyeshadow and a small fluffy brush for this. After that’s done, using a white eyeliner, I filled in the teeth to really make them stand out and added some shading across the forehead and cheeks.

Step five:

To finish the look, I went ove any edges and outlined them with a black liquid eyeliner. I also added some white contact lenses that I was sent to try by the company Spookey Eyes!

Check out their great range here:

www.spookyeyes.com

And that my frightening friends is that!

Check out the video for a run through of how I did it!

There’s a lot more to come my lovelies,

Stay tuned for my next tutorial inspired by Mystical Mermaids…

A lot of glitter… You have been warned!

Exciting!!

Can you believe it’s September already?

I absolutely love Autumn…When the mornings and evenings are dark and you can cuddle up in front of the fire with tea and biscuits.

It is Beautiful.

Today’s post is all about some more beautiful bits and pieces that I was recently sent to review.

I dont know about you guys, but Ive always liked the thought of getting a tattoo, but have never had the courage to go and get one.

Particularly for my work as well, I just don’t think now would be the right time for some real ink.

HOWEVER..

That doesn’t mean I can’t have a little fun once in a while.

So I have been lucky enough to be sent some Watercolour Tattoos by Glim Glam.

Can I just say how unique and beautiful they are.

There are so many to choose from ranging from glitter ones to metallic and to watercolour. And since its festival season here in the UK, and these would be AMAZING for such colourful events.

I was sent the Watercolour “Freespirit” tattoos and I think im in love. They are handpainted little pieces of joy that you can wear and get into that festival fever spirit.

Check out the range HERE.

11994212_10153999631769179_111184450_n

So Ive chosen a few of my faves and applied them to the areas where maybe just one day I will get a real one (shoulder, wrist, foot) … but for now, these are unbelievably brilliant.

11997899_10153999631619179_1265052051_n

This is the first one I applied and probably my favourite. I am in love with Calligraphy like this, and thought it would look so “Beautiful” when wearing flip-flops or sandals.

11997045_10153999632549179_2116259321_n

P.s who loves my nail polish? I thought it was super summery and bright to match this gorgeous weather were having at the mo.

11992377_10153999632094179_1396883990_n

Im a big lover of Mindfulness, yoga and relaxation so I thought that this “Breathe” quote was extremely suitable. It fits so nicely on my wrist and can be easily covered up when needed to.

Again, I love the font style as though it has quickly been painted with a brush..

11995428_10153999632319179_870787503_n 11998281_10153999632269179_647844447_n

11994472_10153999632199179_212959800_n

And finally, the showstopper.

How beautiful is this hummingbird. I love how you can see the splashes of colour as though it is just dripping. The detail is incredible.

I honestly didnt know that you could temporary tattoos like this!

They are just perfection.

If you dolls are interested in getting some for yourselves, I highly recommend them to anyone for any age!

I mean, im almost 23 and still find them fun to apply with a flannel!

So I hope you beauties have enjoyed this colourful post, and make sure to keep up with my latest below:

Disney inspired eyes + Exciting news // BeautyandShe

Uncategorized

I don’t think there is anyone on this earth who does not love Disney?!

I have always loved how magical each and every Disney film is and how much detail and thought is put into them.

If you dolls were wondering, my ultimate favourite film is…….Cinderella

Ahhhh to be a princess….

You guys need to tell me what your absolute FAVE Disney film is, let me know in the comments below!

So for a certain special reason, I was feeling totally inspired by the colours of the characters from the different films and decided to do three makeup looks for you beauts….

Ready for some Disney Magic?….
1: Cinderella

A dream is a wish your heart makes, la de da de da…..

The music from Cinderella gets me every time!

So for this look, I began by applying a cream eyeshadow base to my lids, then added a soft pastel blue to the outer corner. I then applied a deeper blue shade to my crease and blended everything together with a fluffy brush.

Using a small angled brush, I lined my lower lash line with this bright yellow shade which looked gorgeous.

Ready for the ball…
2: Tangled

Who else wishes their hair was this long?

Tangled is another one of my faves. The songs are so catchy and I may just know all the words to the songs…..

For this beautiful look, I began by applying this gorgeous glittery gold shade to my lid as my base. Using a pencil brush, I applied a soft pink colour to the outer corner and crease then followed up by applying this super vibrant purple to my lower lash line and crease again, blending everything together.
3: Sleeping Beauty

Wish I looked so fresh faced after waking up from such a deep sleep..

For this pretty pink look, I began again with a cream eyeshadow base all over the lid and introduced a deep pink to my outer corner and crease. To achieve the delicate look, I blended the colour towards my inner corner and let the colour fade out.

I finally applied that same yellow shade to my lower lash line to add that pop of colour.
And that my lovelies is it! I plan on doing a lot more soon as they were so much fun to create!

You may be wondering what my exciting news is…

Well…..

I’m going to Disneyland Paris with my sister in November and we are so excited.

And this post has definitely got me in the magical spirit.

Fifty shades of…… lip liner? Primark edition // BeautyandShe

Uncategorized

Okay okay… So maybe fifty shades of lip liner was slightly exaggerated.

Good afternoon my beauties!

I don’t know about you but I love a good lip liner.

So I was in the most heavenly place on earth… Primark

And I decided to pick up a couple of their amazing lip liners. I know autumn is on its way so I wanted a few colours that I could match to the upcoming fall season.

If you haven’t seen Primark’s lip liners, you are missing out on a real bargain! I picked up three for £3 (£1 each) – Incredible!

Brownies honour…. They are some of the best lip liners I have ever used. The consistency is super rich and creamy and just glides onto the skin. As for wearing time, I do have to reapply every couple of hours but Hey…

Im happy with that!

So here are the three shades that I picked up:

This first shade is a gorgeous neutral colour that is perfect for everyday. It has undertones of brown and pink giving it the lovely autumnal feel.

Im pretty sure I’ve seen Kylie Jenner in a shade just like this. It’s a beautiful deep mauve/ purple that I am completely in love with!

It’s also really matte so it can easily have some deep maroon gloss over the top for some shimmer and shine.

Is it too soon to start thinking of Winter OOTD’s with this colour?

Im a barbie girl?

I picked this shade up out of curiosity as I have nothing like this in my collection! It is super bright and pigmented but not too over the top!

Is it okay to say….. I love it!!!

It just adds that pop of colour to a simple outfit which is perfect!

So dolls, which one is your favourite? I can’t choose!

Let me know in the comments below.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and I can’t wait for you guys to read my next one….

I may have some exciting news for you..

Review: Lypsyl lip balms // BeautyandShe

Uncategorized

Sorry it’s been so long my lovelies

I have been super duper busy over the past week with work and camping…. I haven’t had a lot of ME-time.

But I’m back!

And today I’m really excited to bring you this lovely review of some amazing products that I was sent by the company Lypsyl!

So for those of you who don’t know, Lypsyl has been making ultra moisturising balm since 1891! – crazy right!

So as I mentioned earlier, I went camping earlier this week for a few days and this balm was my saviour.

If your like me and get sunburn within five minutes, then this balm is for you! It has an SPF in it so it’s perfect for those hot sunny days. I applied it as soon as I woke up and wore it throughout the day to keep my lips hydrated, silky soft and protected from the sun.

I was sent three different balms to try:

Cherry blossom

Strawberry polka dot

The original

Strawberry polka dot is a lovely delicate little number and adds a light hint of pink to my lips…

Did I mention it tastes A-mazing! (Note to self: don’t eat lip balm)

Cherry Blossom  just reminds me of late summer. I love the subtle darker red colour that applies, perfect for this upcoming autumn/ fall months.

And who doesn’t like cherries?

The Original Aloe Vera

Oh lord. This is my absolute fave.

Firstly, the taste, smell and texture of this balm is incredible.

It is so soft and just glides on to the skin. My lips instantly feels 100% moisturised with no chaps.

Bliss.
So my fellow beauties! I highly recommend these lovely little balms that are easy to fit in your pocket or handbag with your other daily essentials!

This is definitely one of mine!

If you guys want to check out the range yourselves, you can find them at :

www.lypsyl.co.uk/

Also if you dolls want to grab a few yourself, you can pick them up in your local supermarkets and pharmacies.
