I have been OBSESSED with highlighting my skin recently. I absolutely love how it makes your makeup look and makes your skin glow and POP!

High school is full of Horrors…

I’m back with another Halloween tutorial for you beauties.

This time, I’m going back to school with my Zombie Prom Queen tutorial.

This look is all about bruising, blood and gore.

If you have never used Liquid Latex before then don’t worry… Neither had I until now!

This look took me about an hour and a half to create and the best thing is, that it was really easy!

I mean, who doesn’t love peeling a glue like substance of their skin?

FUN!

My amazing prom queen costume is from Smiffys Fancy Dress Costumes, along with the Make-up and Liquid Latex.

I’ve always bought my costumes from Smiffys, there are so many to choose from and the level of detail is crazy!

Glitter explosion nails

Well hello my little lovelies,

Who loves glitter? Ummm me!

Here are my DIY glitter nails that are super simple and look dazzling!

I applied Barry M’s glitter and sequin nail polish to all of my nails, giving them two coats to really make H&M shine….

Using a silver nail glitter (you can buy this in most beauty stores), I applied this to the ring fingers and tapped off any excess.

Helpful tip: After your nails have dried for 2 mins, run them under ice cold water for 30 seconds… This prevents any unwanted chipping etc…

Good Afternoon Beauty-ful people!

I decided to do the ‘Would you rather Tag‘ for you all! Now instead of tagging individual bloggers, I would like to tag ALL of you beauty-ful people to do this too!

So …. Lets begin..

Questions

1.Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice make-up or Nice hair and no make-up?

Messy Hair and Nice Makeup. I would try and get away with the wind-swept look!

2.Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?

Oh my goodness! I think I would rather shave my eyebrows because I could just draw them on with my favourite brow products!!

3.Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?

MAC all day, everyday.

4.Would you rather wear lipgloss/lipliner look or 80’s perm?

Lipgloss/liner look definitely. I think if I had a perm, my head would be the size of an large exercise ball.

5.Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?

eeeeeek! worst nightmare! I would choose an obvious foundation line as I could easily blend it into my neck with my fingers!!

6.Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?

I would say MC hammer pants, they look extremely comfortable……

7.Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can’t be covered?

Weird tan lines that cant be covered… because I could at least try and cover them with another self tan!

8.Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair color?

Bad hair colour definitely. I love my hair and to have a bad cut would probably make me cry…

9.Would you rather have youtube or twitter taken away forever?

Probably twitter because I dont really use it. Ive never gotten into the swing of it!

10. Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara?

I would rather give up mascara! I prefer a flawless looking face!

Mermaid shimmer

So today I was experimenting with different colours in my Sleek I-Divine palette in shade ‘Vintage Romance’.

Mermaids are so majestic and beautiful so I decided to recreate this look on my gorgeous twin sister, Jess.

I began by priming her eyes with the ELF eyelid primer in shade ‘sheer’… This helps to make the eyeshadow colours pop and last all day!!

So beginning with my first colour of ‘Lust in LA’, which is a gorgeous shimmery gold/brown, I applied this all over the lid using a a fluffy brush… I then applied the gorgeous red glittery shade to the centre of the eyelid and smoked it out towards the corner. Using the highly pigmented royal blue shade, I applied this to the corner and crease and blended all of the colours together with a fluffy brush.

I applied Jess’ favourite mascara and filled in her brows to finish of the look.

This is a perfect going out look, pair it with a red lip for a Glamorous feel.

All we need now is a Mer-Man……

Christmas sale haul!

New year means Christmas sales!!!

I love the Christmas sales… So many amazing bargains!!
Today I went shopping for the first time in ages and I was mesmerised by all of the gorgeous sale and bargain items!

I first went to Primark….. I should say that I am a little bit in love with Primark because their stuff is so cheap with such a wide variety!

And of course there were sale items to be bought so I ran (not literally) straight in and grabbed a shopping basket!

I managed to pick up a gorgeous mustard/ green colour playsuit reduced from £14 to £5…… WINNER!

There were also a lovely pair of dark wash denim jeans with rips in the knees that I just had to buy and they were only £13.

From the home section I picked up a super soft and snuggle brown throw for my bed which was reduced from £7 to £2.50!
I cannot contain my excitement!

I then dragged myself away to the next shop which was paperchase and of course to another sale! I bought a floral letter organiser for £2.50, some new makeup brush and lipstick pots for £2.45 each and the most amazing hand stitched journal for £10 so I can write up all my beauty hints, tips and tricks.

It was only a small haul but nonetheless, AMAZING!
