Its May! Its basically, nearly, almost, could be SUMMER!

I don’t know about you guys but I have been loving pinterest lately for fashion trends/ideas for the upcoming warmer months so I thought I would share with you some of my favourite trends for 2019.

Grab a cup of tea or your beverage of choice and take a look at my picks for this Summer.

Blazer and Shorts combo

Im getting all sorts of 80’s/90’s vibes with this trend and I love it. A classic blazer with tailored shorts and heel will look perfect day or night plus that blazer will keep you warm on a chilly summer evening – Practical. This one is from Missguided, imagine this with a plain white tee, brown sandals and bag – a perfect summer lunch OOTD.

2. Animal Print

I don’t think this trend ever went away. I never usually wear animal print but this year I have purchased a few items that look surprisingly good! I do love a printed blouse and this one from Oasis at Next is gorgeous.

3. Shirt Dresses

Shirt dresses are my number one smart casual attire. You cant go wrong. Maxi or midi length they all look great and are a cooler option for a hot summers day. This denim style one from Prettylittlething is adorable and would look gorgeous paired with some chunky trainers, oversized sunnies and a messy bun.

4. Neon

Now, I have a love/hate relationship with the neon trend. I LOVE the bright colours but unfortunately I don’t think they look quite right on me! I have tried with a neon pink jumper – that’s how daring I got. I feel like I could get away with wearing this neon bumbag from Topshop though. I just don’t think I would wear it like that…

5. Chunky Trainers

I never thought I would get in to this one – But I have. Chunky trainers are ridiculously comfortable. Some of them are not the nicest looking but I think I have found a pair that beats all. I picked mine up from Matalan and have not looked back since. – Converted.

April PRIMARK haul – Summer styles +Try on |BeautyandShe

Hi everyone!

Guess where I have been….

Only my ultimate fave place ever – Primark.

I have been loving Primark’s Instagram lately, I have had so much inspiration from them I just had to go and see for myself.

It is April, which basically means it is nearly Summer and I need to get my Summer wardrobe sorted.

My style for this summer is going to be smart and classic yet casual… if that makes any sense. I love just simple outfits that look timeless and also comfortable!

The pieces I picked up today are definitely just that.

When I saw this two piece, I fell in love. This is a linen blazer and shorts set that is the most comfortable thing ever. It’s a very lightweight material that will be perfect in hotter weather and will go with everything. The shorts are paperbag style with a gorgeous belt detail that cinches me in at the best part of my waist. I paired mine with heels but imagine this outfit with brown sandals too – Perfection.

I’m getting Audrey Hepburn vibes in this beautiful dress – It is so flattering and again, such a classic style. I love the belt which really brings the dress together and the button are a nice contrast. It has two slits along the sides which I like and the neckline is absolutely perfect – not too plungy!

I’m usually a bikini girl but this swimsuit had me weak at the knees. I think I just love anything with a belt – even swimwear! This stunning khaki swimsuit is perfect for covering up (a little bit). The material is such high quality, not thin and shiny which I hate and it is so so comfortable.

They call me mellow yellow… I LOVE THIS SWIMSUIT. It was another one of those “I need that” moments when I knew I had to have it. Again with the belt thing, the colour is super flattering and I think will be for all skin tones and the fit is spot on. I am a size 10 and this fits like a dream.

This bikini is so so pretty. Its such a chic colour and is ridiculously comfortable. The bottoms are a little bit more cheeky but I love it! It has pretty wood design detailing on the top and bottoms and I like to wear mine a little bit more high waisted.

A little bit bolder than I usually go for but these sunnies just make me happy! It’s funny how a different shape of glasses can change your outfit so much.

If I could be tanned, bronzy and glowy all year round, I would be so happy. I picked up the Glow Intensity shimmer spray for those summer days where I want to look like a Victoria’s Secret Angel. I also picked up this new mascara which is a dupe for Too Faced’s “Better than sex” mascara – I have heard great things so I will give it a good go!

And that guys is everything I picked up for the start of my Summer wardrobe! I was really wise and didn’t purchase everything I saw, only the staple pieces that will look great for my summer wardrobe.

The “Every girl wants” Christmas Gift Guide 2018

After my last gift guide, I though it was time for a fashion forward post. As we get closer and closer to Christmas, there are so many things that catch my eye in the windows of shops.

There have been so many fashion trends I adore this season….I have seen a lot of glitter and sparkle which I LOVE as im such a magpie. I see a lot of faux fur and fleece and plenty of cosy jumpers.

In this gift guide I bring to you my fashion faves from the perfect LBD (little black dress for those who dont know) to the BEST accessories – what every girl wants.

The Glitzy One

Gold Backless Sequin Drape Mini Dress view main view — If your looking for a showstopper then this is it. I love the tie detail on the side – It reminds me of a present wrapped up with a bow, how adorable. It comes in fours colours but the gold is the one for me this festive season.

Nude Square Toe Barely There Heels — How perfect, These nude heels will go with absolutely everything. Super simple but oh so elegant I have this exact pair and it really is the PERFECT pair of heels.

The Festive Jewels

I love to shop local and when I had the chance to sample the Winter collection from LushChic Jewellery – I jumped at the chance. The accessories are sterling silver and the cutest little pieces for any occasion. They have “a passion to miniaturise every cute thing on the planet” – which is such a lovely concept! The snowflake necklace has been my staple piece since I received it and I think will be for the foreseeable future…

This beautiful sterling silver snowflake and man in the moon necklace are just gorgeous. Pair these with any Christmas outfit for the final finishing touches.

You know me guys, I LOVE a bargain.

Today I bring to you, the haul of ALL hauls from bargain heaven Everything5pounds.com!

If you haven’t heard of it E5P before then you are seriously missing out! As the name suggests everything and I mean EVERYTHING is five pounds. Im talking about dresses, boots, jeans, heels, jackets, coats…… everything.

So when E5P got in touch with me asking if I would like to be sent some products, I jumped at the chance as I know how good their range is.

When I first discovered the website many many months ago, I was a bit sceptical at first as it is very cheap price wise and that does make you question the quality and range.

HOWEVER! I risked it for a biscuit and a few months ago splurged on some summer essentials for my wardrobe. I was so shocked at how good the quality of the materials and products were it was crazy! How can something so cheap be so good – Well it can!

So as I said I was super happy when they got in contact for me to show you guys how GREAT and AFFORDABLE this company is!

I was able to select four gorgeous items of my choice and I thought that since it is now winter I should probably be sensible and get some jumpers or jackets or something that will keep me warm! (Im getting old aren’t I?)

Ready to see my beautiful bargains??

So the first thing that caught my eye were these boots. Now… me and boots are like… Ant and Dec, Cookies and Milk… we just go together. So these faux suede beige ankle boots are most definitely the FAVE item from this haul. The quality as you can see is beautiful. Im a size 5 and they fit perfectly! I think with jeans tucked in and a leather jacket, they will look STUNNING! Well were off to a good start right……

Next up is this super chunky cowl neck jumper. I saw this on the model and just thought how cosy is this?! I love the colours as it will go with everything but the quality of the fabric on this one guys is amazing! It kept me so warm and looks beautiful with a pair of jeans and boots.

Party Party Party! Gold is the colour of the season and when glitter is added… well… Its just even more beautiful! This stunning gold glitter ruffle top is ideal for those christmas/ NYE parties where you want to be a bit more casual but still sparkle and shine. I tried this also tucked in high waisted jeans and it looks gorgeous. I was worried that the material would be too thin and see through but it is fully lined and looks incredible!

The last item I chose, I desperately needed in my wardrobe as I am seriously lacking in jumper dresses. This high roll neck jumper dress is very thick and super soft. It has a side split for detail so if worn in winter, tights would be a good option. Paired with boots (again) this is a dream and is ideal for casual days out or even evenings too!

Well, what do you think? Pretty darn good right? I highly recommend checking these guys out guys if your looking for last minute gifts or just a little something for yourself too!

Good afternoon my beauties!

I’m not sure about you guys, but it was pay day for me a couple of days ago and you know what that means…..

Retail therapy.

I went shopping this morning with my sister to see what bargains and summery delights we could get.

When we go shopping, we know exactly what we want and where to go… We were finished in about and hour!

If you dolls want to see my purchases then take a peek below…

PRIMARK:

I usually go crazy in the candle section of Primark but I thought I would try one of the diffusers. The smell of this is incredible – sweet coconut and vanilla. It’s very delicate and refreshing and has a classic and natural appearance.

Price: £3

I’m a big tan person. I feel so much healthier with a bit of colour on my skin (bizarre I know) so I decided to try Primarks own tanning lotion. This one is suited if you would like a light to medium colour… Perfect for me.

For the price, you can’t really go wrong!

It’s that strange type of year where the weather is getting a bit warmer but there is still that nip in the air. I wanted some tops that would keep me warm and still be light enough to wear without a jacket.

This gorgeous top is perfect for those days… Its extremely lightweight and includes a chiffon shirt style underlay. I chose a grey colour as it is very neutral and will go with most things.

It includes the zip detail which is super cute. I absolutely love it.

Ahoy there sailor…. Who doesn’t like stripes?

I don’t know what it is but I am loving chiffon style underlays lately.

And look at the back?!!!!

This top will be perfect for a casual day shopping or can be dressed up for an evening out.

Pair it with some jeans, heels and a clutch – Heaven.

Cotton cardies….

Possibly the most comfy thing in the world.

I love throwing on a cardigan in Spring. They are super handy when it’s a bit chilly and go with practically any outfit. I chose a gorgeous white V neck…

I’m all about Aztec print for summer. This maxi skirt is stunning made from a super soft and stretchy fabric, it feels like I’m not wearing anything at all……umm….

As you can see, it has a slit up the leg and fits like a dream.

Pair this statement skirt with a plain white Tee for an effortless and super comfy look.

I always end up buying jeans from Primark. The range they have is incredible and they last forever…

These are super skinny with a stretch fit, perfect for the bootay! I prefer wearing a light wash colour and these are ideal.

SUPERDRUG:

I love MUA makeup.

After buying this lip lacquer for my friend, I was so impressed I had to buy ~~one~~ two….

This gorgeous nude colour will be perfect for everyday wear…

Eeeeek! The perfect red lip colour!

What I love about this product is that it dries matte!

I’ve been a big fan of eyebrow pencils for a long time but wanted to see what the hype of brow mascara so was about…

Christmas sale haul!

New year means Christmas sales!!!

I love the Christmas sales… So many amazing bargains!!
Today I went shopping for the first time in ages and I was mesmerised by all of the gorgeous sale and bargain items!

I first went to Primark….. I should say that I am a little bit in love with Primark because their stuff is so cheap with such a wide variety!

And of course there were sale items to be bought so I ran (not literally) straight in and grabbed a shopping basket!

I managed to pick up a gorgeous mustard/ green colour playsuit reduced from £14 to £5…… WINNER!

There were also a lovely pair of dark wash denim jeans with rips in the knees that I just had to buy and they were only £13.

From the home section I picked up a super soft and snuggle brown throw for my bed which was reduced from £7 to £2.50!
I cannot contain my excitement!

I then dragged myself away to the next shop which was paperchase and of course to another sale! I bought a floral letter organiser for £2.50, some new makeup brush and lipstick pots for £2.45 each and the most amazing hand stitched journal for £10 so I can write up all my beauty hints, tips and tricks.

It was only a small haul but nonetheless, AMAZING!
